For 10 years, the television sitcom series Friends hosted several memorable guest stars throughout the years. To this day, you can say the name of a particular character, and a fan could likely tell you every episode they were in. One such case would be Janice (Maggie Wheeler), Chandler Bing’s (Matthew Perry) on-again, off-again girlfriend. How often did she appear in the series?

Janice was Chandler’s girlfriend at the beginning of the show in season one, however, he was ready to break off the relationship. Besides finding her annoying, Chandler also struggled with commitment issues, so he wanted to end the relationship but always found it difficult to end things since he didn’t want to hurt her.

They would reconcile several times throughout the series, but in the end, he would eventually fall in love with, and marry, Monica Geller (Courtney Cox). Despite the core group finding her annoying, she still managed to give them helpful advice during some of her appearances.
