Keep up with The White Lotus season 3 updates! Here's everything we know so far

Early last year, we were very much in the dark about The White Lotus season 3. Fans knew it was coming, but we had no idea when or who would star in it. And then, HBO shared that The White Lotus, as well as several other shows, were going to be pushed back to 2025. This is due to several reasons, including the strikes. Two other series we'll have to wait until 2025 for, are Euphoria season 3 and the horror-drama Welcome to Derry.

Now, we may not be anywhere close to the year 2025, but season 3 updates have been raining on us. Folks, this is going to be one star-studded season. Keep on reading to learn everything we know about The White Lotus season 3 so far.

The White Lotus season 3 premiere date is still 2025

A lot may now be known about the upcoming season of the HBO hit series, but that doesn't mean the premiere date has changed. Remember, casting announcements don't mean filming or production has started. According to Elle, HBO chairman and CEO Casey Bloys shared that season 3 "probably would have been [released in] 2024," but the writers and actors' strikes forced the delay.

Since several cast members have already been announced, our best guess is that season 3 will be released early to mid 2025. Of course, as soon as we have more updates or learn the official premiere date, we'll update you!

The White Lotus season 3 cast (so far)

Deadline broke the news, the first cast members to be announced, are: Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, and Tayme Thapthimthong. Later, we learned that Carrie Coon will join, as well as Natasha Rothwell, who you may remember from season 1. Rothwell will reprise her role as Belinda.

Shortly after the first cast announcements, the source shared that Miloš Biković, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, and Shalini Peiris will also star in the upcoming season. But wait, there's more! Also set to appear in season 3, are Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola.

Needless to say, it's an interesting cast and we can't wait to learn more about the characters they will play.

More to know

It may be too early to know the synopsis for the upcoming season, but we do know where it will take place. The same source shares that production is expected to begin in February 2024 in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand.
