Krysten Ritter joins Celebrity Wheel of Fortune tonight! (May 6 contestants list)
By Sabrina Reed
Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is back tonight (May 6) on ABC! The episode, airing at 9 p.m. ET, after a new episode of Jeopardy! Masters will mark the return of season 4 which has been on hiatus since December 2023. The guests on tap include Krysten Ritter which will be exciting for Marvel and Orphan Black fans like.
For viewers like myself, Ritter is best known as Jessica Jones, the superpowered private investigator from the the formerly Netflix original by the same name. Her character had many a vice but she was dedicated to her case work and was often, in the process, working through the trauma she'd experienced in the past. The actress is also the lead of Orphan Black: Echoes, the latest entry in the franchise that made Tatiana Maslany a household name.
Echoes--which premieres Sunday, June 23 on AMC, its streaming arm AMC+, and BBC America--follows Ritter's Lucy, a woman who is described as having an "unimaginable origin story" and who is trying to figure out where she fits in the world. The focus of the show as a whole is a group of women who set out on a journey together and who are unravelling a mystery involving their identity. Those who tune in can expect a love story, betrayal, and an "exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence."
Celebrity Wheel of Fortune contestants (May 6)
Joining Krysten Ritter are famed designer Christian Siriano and actress Sarah Levy. Siriano rose to prominence after winning Project Runway. His unique style and ability to design for many different body types has made him a standout in the industry. While Ritter will be playing for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Siriano's charity of choice is GLAAD.
As for Levy, she hails from an acting family as she is the daughter of Eugene Levy and the sister of Dan Levy. She's best known for the role of Twyla on Schitt's Creek and was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy in 2020. Levy is playing for FSHD Society, "the world’s largest research-focused patient organization for facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), one of the most prevalent forms of muscular dystrophy."
As usual, Pat Sajak and Vanna White will host Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. Be prepared for quite a few laughs in the episode as all three contestants are known for their humor. Tune in at 9 p.m. ET on ABC!
