It's been eight years since Kung Fu Panda 3 came out, and now us fans are definitely ready for the next chapter in the story! That's why it's such great news that Kung Fu Panda 4 is now in theaters as of Friday, March 8, 2024. Yay!

Many of you will head straight for the cinema, while some of you might want to wait until the kids movie comes to streaming. There's also some projects that become fan-favorites, and you just want to watch again. That's why streaming comes in so handy. So where will the film be available online after its run on the big screen?

Kung Fu Panda 4 will be streaming on Peacock after theaters. This is because the movie's production company is Universal Pictures, which owns the streamer. It's not known exactly when the animated film is going to be added to the platform, but we don't expect it to take too long. Universal Pictures doesn't have a specific streaming window after theaters, but we can take a guess based on its other successful movies. That might be around four months after its release.

For example, The Super Mario Bros. Movie made its debut in cinemas on April 5, 2023. It then began streaming on Peacock four months later on Aug. 3, 2023. And with The Super Mario Bros. Movie being a big box office success, waiting four months to come to streaming isn't too bad. Depending on how well Po's adventures do, it could become available online even sooner. But right now to be safe, we're going to predict a July 2024 streaming release date for Kung Fu Panda 4 on Peacock.

Kung Fu Panda 4 will be streaming on Netflix after Peacock

If you're a Netflix subscriber and don't want to be paying for two services, then you're in luck. Kung Fu Panda 4 will be streaming on Netflix after it's on Peacock for at least four months. While the latter does have streaming rights, Universal and Netflix have a licensing deal. Any of Universal's animated movies are to stream on Netflix at least four months after Peacock is their exclusive home. And so, we can expect Kung Fu Panda 4 on Netflix sometime around November 2024.
