Ever since Monica Garcia was outed by Heather Gay for being the leader of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City gossip account, Reality von Tea(se), fans have been wondering if her grave crime was enough to make Garcia never want to return again. After all, Gay and the rest of the cast weren't really seeing eye-to-eye with Garcia after the reveal as well as during the three-part reunion, leaving fans to wonder if the cast would even want to film with Garcia.

What's more, Garcia didn't take ownership or show some remorse for any of her past behavior, which led to severing the bond she had with most women on the show.

All of this and so much more created an atmosphere so toxic that Monica Garcia was left with not much choice but to leave The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City after one season.

Monica Garcia is out...for now.

As reported by People Magazine, Monica Garcia will not be featured in the next season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Initially, it was reported that Garcia was the one who made this decision after all the criticism she received. However, soon after the news broke, Garcia didn't hesitate to clear the air that she, ultimately, would've stayed.

"That would be a cast and Bravo decision," Garcia expressed to the media outlet. "It would not have been my decision."

Garcia's statement is further backed by the fact that Lori Gordon, showrunner of this Real Housewives franchise, confirmed that the ball wasn't exclusively in Garcia's court.

"The women just need a cooling off period, and I think it’s just too soon," Gordon expressed to People in a later report. "They’ve articulated it. It’s too soon for them to reenter into a friendship — a trusting friendship. Not enough time has passed."

Cohen seconded Gordon, stating, "Who knows? I love a comeback. [It] would be very cool to find a path forward for her. But Lisa [Barlow] and Lori [Gordon] are right — it feels too raw right now."

Fans have mixed feelings about Monica's departure

When it's all said and done, how the fans feel about the entire Monica Garcia reveal is also considered. However, it's safe to say, that if the final decision were left in the hands of fans, it would've been split right down the middle.

On the one hand, we have fans who couldn't be any more excited about Garcia's exit, as they felt that she stooped way too low for a member of the Real Housewives franchise.

"She’s a Housewives stan who misled the producers to get on the show," one Reddit thread read. "Sorry but I wouldn’t want to work with a stalker fan." Another commenter agreed, stating, "It’s like she wanted RHOSLC to be like Bad Girls Club. She just brought low budget energy and low class insults."

On the other hand, some felt differently.

"I’m sorry but she definitely bought the views up and without her there’d be ppl saying the show is boring," one supporter expressed. "Every show needs a good villain."

We definitely understand the back and forth, as Garcia added an intriguing element to the show, but at the same time, she made a lot of the women feel very weirded out by her mistake.

Will Monica Garcia ever come back? The world may never know. But until then, we anticipate a great upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. It very may be the most-watched season yet!
