No Saturday Night Live tonight (Jan. 13), but here's when it'll be back and who will host!
By Sandy C.
I don't know about you, but here at Hidden Remote, our Saturday nights are reserved for NBC's SNL. The sketch-comedy series, however, has been on hiatus. The last episode before the break was on Dec. 16, 2023, and it was hosted by the hilarious Kate McKinnon, with musical guest Billie Eilish. But when will it return?
Tonight, instead a new episode of Saturday Night Live, viewers who tune in will find an older episode of the comedy. So if you're searching for some laughs, NBC will still provide! But if you want to watch something else, we recommend Killers of the Flower Moon, now streaming on Apple TV+. Kevin Hart's Lift is streaming on Netflix, and Role Play is available on Prime Video. As for the return of SNL, here's everything you need to know.
Jacob Elordi is hosting Saturday Night Live season 49 episode 9
The Euphoria and Saltburn star, Jacob Elordi, is set to host the next episode of Saturday Night Live. Season 49 episode 9 will air next Saturday, Jan. 20, on the NBC network at 11:30 p.m. ET. To watch it, you'll need to tune in at that time. No cable? No problem! You can still watch the show by streaming it via the platform you replaced cable with, such as fuboTV or Hulu TV.
Finally, if you can't tune in at that time, stream the episode the next day (Jan. 21) on Hulu for free as part of your Hulu subscription.
The musical guest that night will be Reneé Rapp, who recently released her studio album "Snow Angel." Are you a fan of Reneé Rapp's music? Which songs are you hoping she performs? If you're not already a fan, prepare to learn about your new favorite singer-songwriter! As for Elordi hosting the show, we are used to seeing the actor take on serious roles, so this is going to be a lot of fun to see!
