Part one of Blue Bloods' final season is here, tune in with these 3 options
The final season of the hit drama series Blue Bloods is here, but as previously announced, the episodes will be released in two parts, with the second batch of season 14 airing in Fall 2024. But fans still have reason to celebrate because the season premiere is finally here, and you have options for how to watch Blue Bloods season 14 live and on streaming.
Debuting in 2010, Blue Bloods is a popular police procedural drama series on CBS that follows a multi-generational family that works within different areas of the New York Police Department. The cast includes Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Will Estes, and Len Cariou, but in season 14, it was announced that Jennifer Esposito, who played Detective Jackie Curatola in earlier seasons will also be rejoining the cast.
Most seasons of Blue Bloods have about 20 episodes, and the final season of the series will be just shy of that number at 18 total episodes. The first ten episodes of Blue Bloods season 14 will premiere on February 16, and the second part of the final season, which will consist of eight episodes, will air as part of CBS' fall programming.
3 ways to watch Blue Bloods season 14
1. CBS
Blue Bloods airs new episodes live on CBS at 10/9c, and fans can watch on standard cable. If you have a cable subscription, but won't be home when the episode airs, you can also log in to CBS' website with your cable provider and watch CBS Live TV from a computer or mobile device each Friday night.
2. Paramount+ subscription
CBS' streaming service is Paramount+, so it makes sense that all seasons of Blue Bloods will be available to stream here, including new episodes. Though you will find some seasons available on other popular platforms like Prime Video and Hulu, neither of those sites will have new episodes from the final season as they air. With Paramount+, you will be able to stream episodes of Blue Bloods' final season on demand, with each new episode being added to the platform the day after it airs on CBS. The Essential plan is $5.99/month.
If you have a subscription to Paramount+ with Showtime, you have even more ways to watch because your subscription will allow you to watch new episodes live as they air. You will not have to wait for episodes to be added to the streaming platform the next day, and so this option is the most similar to having a standard cable package. The plan is $11.99
3. Hulu + Live TV
This last option depends on your region, but if you have access to CBS through Hulu + Live TV you'll be able to watch Blue Bloods as it airs on the network. However, as noted above, if you want to watch the final season on-demand after an episode airs, you'll only be able to do so via a TV provider or Paramount+. The Hulu + Live TV option is for on the night viewing and DVR.
Plans:
- Hulu + Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN+ all with ads - $76.99/month
- Hulu (No ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (No ads), and ESPN+ (With ads) - $89.99/month.
