Host Ken Jeong

The hilarious Ken Jeong is our host for the evening in every episode! The actor and comedian is best known for his roles as Leslie Chow in The Hangover movies, Ben Chang in the television sitcom, Community, and Ken Park in comedy series Dr. Ken. He also created, wrote, and executive produced the show.

Jeong has also appeared in numerous movies over the years including Transformers: Dark of the Moon, The DUFF, and Crazy Rich Asians. An upcoming project for the star includes the film My Spy: The Eternal City. And he's no stranger to competition shows! The talent also serves as a panelist on The Masked Singer.

Panelists Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton

Hines is also an actress and comedian who is best known for her role as Cheryl on Curb Your Enthusiasm. You may also recognize the star from films like The Ugly Truth, A Bad Moms Christmas, and About Fate; as well as shows including Suburgatory, Son of Zorn, and The Flight Attendant season 2. Hines has a new movie in the works titled Popular Theory.

Bailon-Houghton was definitely my favorite Cheetah Girl, and she has an amazing voice! She wears many hats in the industry, including actress, singer, and television personality. She has released one studio album back in 2017, was a co-host on The Real from 2013 to 2022, and reprised her role as Alana in Raven's Home. Apart from her gig on I Can See Your Voice, she now serves as co-anchor on E! News.

How the game works

In I Can See Your Voice, the host, panelists, and celebrity detectives help one contestant tell "the difference between good and bad singers," per the synopsis. A total of six singers are presented and only identified by their job. Because the catch is that the contestant has to figure out who the bad singers are without hearing them sing one note. That means challenge accepted for many who come on the show!

During six rounds, the contestant tries to eliminate one of the six singers through a number of clues, interrogation, and lip sync challenges. Because all comes down to the grand cash prize of $100,000! Going into the final round, the contestant chooses whether to keep the money they've earned in the previous rounds and head home, or continue for the chance to win $100,000. That means the last singer standing has to be a good singer, or the contestant loses. And that's revealed when the remaining singer performs with one of the celebrity detectives.

I Can See Your Voice premieres tonight, Jan. 3, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. Episodes are available to stream on Hulu the next day.
