SWAT season 7 episode 10 start time, plot, spoilers, and how the episode connects to the season finale

With a new episode of SWAT coming and only a few episodes left of the season, we’re looking forward to how the remaining episodes will lead us toward the now season seven finale. Let’s go over what we know about the next episode of SWAT, which is titled “SNAFU.”

This episode of SWAT will focus on the team hunting down a sniper and will also lead into an arc involving Hondo and where he grew up. 

According to the synopsis, “As 20-Squad scrambles to track down a cold-blooded sniper terrorizing Los Angeles, Hondo discovers a link to his own South L.A. neighborhood that brings a personal twist to the hunt for the deadly shooter. Meanwhile, Tan finds himself questioning his leadership abilities while Powell and Alfaro compete in a classic game of SWAT tag.” 

The episode will air on Friday, April 26 at 8/7c. 

We don’t know exactly what will happen that links Hondo’s neighborhood to the case. It could be that someone is involved somehow and he knows the person in question. But due to tensions when it comes to the job he has, this might lead to those involved being uncooperative.

Hondo has always worked hard to figure out how to balance his job with being a black man who wants to do right by his community as well. But based on the information for the last few episodes, tensions will rise when it looks like a shooting Hondo is involved in will put him at odds with his community. 

From what we know about the season finale, something will happen in the remaining episodes that will lead him to struggle with feeling secure about leading his team and pulling everyone together, especially with all the changes going on with people leaving or retiring. 

There are so many questions about what will happen with Squad 20 as we have seen Street leave, Luca retire, and Deacon on the cusp of possibly retiring. However, is this also likely to occur, especially with all the changes already happening? The second to last episode of the season, “Allegiance,” will likely also finally answer the question whether Deacon will decide to stay with SWAT.

Anything could happen with the team once we reach the finale. It’s hard to imagine the team without Deacon, especially since he has always been the person Hondo can turn to. 

There’s a lot up in the air in terms of what will happen with the team as we reach the end of the season. But based on what we know and how we might see the rest of the season play out, it will be an exciting end to season 7 as fans get to look forward to season 8.

For now, all we can do is speculate about what will take place. For now though, the upcoming episode on April 26 will at least get the ball rolling on the arc involving Hondo. We just hope the rest of Squad 20 will be safe until the end of the season! Plus, with Tan's leadership skills coming up, could he also have a bigger role in SWAT somehow? We're also excited to see what happens with him!
