For a Friday episode, The Bold and the Beautiful didn't have a lot going on. We did get to see Wyatt again, so that was nice, but it was just so he could give RJ the key to the beach house. He'd walked in on the heir apparent and Luna as they were sharing a private moment in the design office.

Wyatt sadly, and awkwardly to be honest, shared his less than concrete plans on what he's going to be doing now that he's moved out. He thinks he'll hang around LA or go somewhere new. He sounds aimless and it hurt my heart because there could be a story here for Darin Brooks if his character were invested in like he had been years ago.

RJ took Luna to the beach house but they're both unaware that Poppy and Bill are in the bedroom getting up close and personal with one another. The latter couple had finished up their date at Il Giardino and came to Bill's property for more privacy. At first Poppy had Li's opinion of her and her dating history stopping her from being intimate with the billionaire, but he told her he knows she doesn't need him, but he's aware she wants him. That was enough for her to make up her mind about how she wanted to spend her night.

We'll have to wait until next week to likely experience the embarrassment these couples are certain to feel once they're aware that the beach house isn't currently the private oasis they thought it would be. I have to say, if this is building toward Luna being revealed as Bill's daughter, this is not the way I thought it would be happening.

Meanwhile, at the Forrester Mansion, Eric let Ridge off the hook about going forward with the experimental procedure that saved his life. He assured his son that while he now doesn't fear death and knows what's waiting for him when it is his time to pass, he's happy to be here with his family. This soothed Ridge. Zende ran in shortly after, ecstatic to see his grandfather out of the hospital. He wasn't allowed to hug him either, but he did hold his hand and told him how much it means for him to be doing well and still here with them.

Eric won't be going back to work anytime soon if his family has a say about it, but he has agreed to take his time and rest. The episode ended with Ridge telling him that Steffy and her family would like to stop by to see him which Eric was supportive of because he wants to see his loved ones. It's a joy for him, even as he recuperates to tell them what it's meant to have their support through this whole ordeal. So, while this was a rather slow paced episode, it did end warmly.
