The Big Bad Wolf is coming back! Here's everything we know about The Bad Guys 2

Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? Well, if we're talking about Mr. Wolf from The Bad Guys, we're definitely not. Mr. Wolf is a softy! This is why we're excited to see Sam Rockwell back as Mr. Wolf in The Bad Guys 2.
The Bad Guys follows Mr. Wolf (Rockwell), the leader of a criminal group that includes as well as Snake (Marc Maron), Tarantula (Awkwafina), Shark (Craig Robinson), and Piranha (Anthony Ramos). When they are caught, Mr. Wolf and his gang are given the opportunity to escape punishment if they agree to turn their life around by following a program to make model citizens out of them. They agree, but plan on faking their transformation. Mr. Wolf, however, begins to genuinely enjoy being good.
If you have not watched the heist comedy The Bad Guys, we highly recommend it! And with summer break just around the corner, it's the perfect movie to watch with the family. The movie is streaming on Prime Video for free as part of your subscription. Even if you and the kiddos have already watched the animated feature, you may want to watch it again ahead of the sequel's release!

From Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation, The Bad Guys 2 is coming to theaters on Aug. 1, 2025. So not this summer, unfortunately, but next! As Box Office Mojo shares, the first movie gathered an impressive $250.3 million at the worldwide box office.
Now, we don't only have the release date, but the synopsis, too! The movie is based on Aaron Blabey’sNew York Times best-selling book series. Deadline shares that Mr. Wolf and his friends are struggling with their new lives as Good Guys. Let's just say, trusting does not come easy after many years of crime. So when they receive the offer to do "one last job," it's hard to say no! Once a Bad Guy, always a Bad Guy?
