Disney+ may have ended January off with a sizzle but February is starting off with a bang and some fun new additions.

Since the platform's launch, Disney+ has become a hub for fans of all different franchises to gather and watch newly released movies, shows, and more. That's why it's so awesome to see Disney going all in during this week.

While there are some additional shows and movies being added, this week is all about Marvel in the best way. Whether you want something with some action or want something for the kiddos, there's a lot to choose from.

Regardless if you enjoyed The Marvels or have yet to watch it, your week is most certainly going to be booked and busy with all these releases so let's break it down.

See the Disney+ releases from Feb. 3-9

Before getting into this week's releases, Disney+ did release add something new on Saturday, Feb. 3 which is unusual. The streamer usually keeps things contained to a few days but new season 2 episodes of Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur were added.

Moving ahead to this week, there are a few more releases to discuss so let's break those down.

  • Arctic Ascent with Alex Honnold (Feb. 5)
  • The Marvels (Feb. 7)
  • Assembled: The Making of The Marvels (Feb. 7)
  • Marvel's Spidey and his Amazing Friends, Season 3 episodes (Feb. 9)
  • Genius: MLK/X Season 4, Episodes 3 and 4 (Feb. 9)

While this week's list isn't very long, it's certainly mighty with the addition of three new Marvel releases and even some non-Marvel content. It's clear The Marvels was the big attraction for the week but it's good to see Disney adding in some other releases, too. It will be interesting to see if the less-than-stellar thoughts on The Marvels will change after its Disney+ release.

Then again, sometimes adding a movie to streaming can help it in the long run. Either way, this week is full of Marvelous releases so if you're looking for a reason to subscribe to Disney+, now is the time.
