These days, there are one too many streaming services to select from for our TV and movie needs. Lately, even the sports world has thrown us for a loop. But now, many NFL fans are saying that streaming has crossed the line, especially if you were hoping to watch the Chiefs vs Dolphins game.

The Chiefs-Dolphins wil-card game is going to air exclusively on NBC's streaming service, Peacock. That's right, exclusively as in you can only watch it if you have a Peacock subscription. Again, yes, you have to pay to watch a playoff game (that is, if you don't already have Peacock). There is one other way to watch, but it doesn't apply to all fans.

Kansas City locals can watch the game for free as it will broadcast on KSHB, Channel 41. If you don't live in the area, I'm afraid you're out of luck! On the bright side, Peacock's most affordable plan is $5.99/month. The streamer is hoping that you will subscribe, love the service, and keep it. And you just might! Peacock has a lot of great content to offer, both original movies and shows, as well as network favorites.

You can also upgrade and subscribe to Peacock for $12/month, which is their ad-free subscription that includes live access to your local NBC affiliate. Already subscribed? Then you have nothing to worry about!

However, you absolutely don't have to keep it. Feel free to cancel your subscription that same day, you'll still have access a month. Here are the details:

  • What: Miami Dolphins vs Kansas City Chiefs
  • Where to watch: Peacock (or Channel 41 if you reside in the Kansas City area)
  • When: Saturday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. ET

Will you be subscribing to Peacock to watch the game tonight? If you do, are your plans to keep the account or cancel after the game?
