The action-comedy, The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare, premiered in theaters over the weekend. Over at Rotten Tomatoes, the Guy Ritchie-directed movie has a solid score of 73%, with an even higher rating from audiences (94%). Needless to say, this is one adventure you don't want to miss. But what if making a trip to the movie theater isn't a possibility? Well, you may be able to stream The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare sooner than you think! Here's what we know.
Released on Friday, April 19, The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare is based on Damien Lewis' book titled Chirchill's Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes. But don't let the title full you, specifically the words "true story." Though the movie is inspired by true events, it is heavily fictionalized. The movie follows the formation of the first special forces organization, put together during the WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare stars Henry Cavill, Cary Elwes, Henry Golding, Eiza Gonzalez, Alan Ritchson, and others. It may sound like a fun adventure, but as you have likely already guessed, the movie is not for kids! TMOUW is rated R for language as well as strong violence throughout.

Whether you want to rewatch the movie from home or check it out for the first time because a trip to your local movie theater isn't an option, here's what we know about the streaming release.
Typically, we are not too sure when or where a movie will stream after leaving theaters, but that's not the case for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. It is a Lionsgate production, so we already know that, due to the studio's contract, the movie will be released on Starz after leaving the big screen. This places the movie for a streaming release at 180 days after its premiere, the average time it takes for a Lionsgate film project to reach the small screen.
What does this mean? TMOUW will stream in October 2024. The Starz release will be followed by Peacock. Now, the time for this may not seem like it's short, but compared to other movies, getting TMOUW on streaming on the same year as the release is great!
