It's wild that I was trapped in the house for what felt like all of January, and we have already entered February. The time has flown by already in 2024. Like we do every week, we’re sharing all the best Netflix movies and shows debuting beginning the week of Jan. 29 2024.

On January 25, 1985, the biggest names in music went to a studio in Los Angeles and recorded a song to benefit African famine relief. The Greatest Night in Pop looks at how Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie wrote "We Are the World" and gathered legends like Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, Dionne Warrick, and more to sing on the track. (Streaming on Jan. 29)

In the same vein of popular series like Full Swing and Quarterbacks comes Nascar: Full Speed, which follows some of the world's best drivers as they attempt to take home their sport's biggest prize. (Streaming on Jan. 30)

Families can rejoice with a brand new animated movie, Orion and the Dark. It follows Orion, a shy elementary school kid with a secret crush. However, his real fear is the dark, and one night, a character named Dark whisks Orion away in an attempt to stop letting fear control his life. (Streaming on Feb. 2)

As for our biggest recommendations for the week...

The Tourists debuted on BBC last year to huge ratings, followed by garnering a 97% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which led to the series being renewed for a second season. Season 2 sees Elliot and his ally Helen travel to Ireland to find answers about Elliot's identity. Of course, this results in them facing some challenges from his past. The series stars Jamie Dornan and Danielle Macdonald.

What will you be streaming on Netflix this week? Something from this list or rewatching an old favorite? Did we miss any show or movie you believe needs to be on this list?
