The Voice finale starts a bit later than you might have expected
By Cody Schultz
If you’re like me, you might have been confused when settling in to watch The Voice finale for one major reason. Tonight’s finale does not begin at the top of the night and will instead officially begin at 9/8c which is the usual start time for Tuesday night episodes.
The first part of The Voice’s three-hour finale is actually a recap of Monday’s performance episode which means you can skip the episode if you’d like and not actually miss any of the action from the finale itself. The results portion of the finale will begin at 9 p.m. ET as NBC goes live to name a season 25 champion in a night full of amazing performances and some fun bits featuring the coaches.
The Voice finale tonight is 3-hours long!
Tonight’s season 25 finale of The Voice is going to be a long one! The finale festivities kicked off at 8 p.m. ET with a recap show, while the actual live finale will begin at 9 p.m. ET and is going to be two hours long. During the live portion of the finale, we’ll get to see which of the finalists will walk away as the new winner of The Voice.
As always, tonight’s episode will air on your local NBC affiliate and you can also stream the show live via Peacock, Hulu+ Live TV, or fuboTV accounts. The finale will then be available to stream the next day on Peacock as well for anyone who might not be able to watch the finale live tonight.
Who are the finalists on The Voice tonight?
Tonight, a new winner will be revealed and the odds seem to be in both John Legend and Reba McEntire’s favor as both coaches have two finalists competing for the title of Season 25 winner! But don’t count out Team Dan + Shay as their final artist could be a dark horse in the race! Here’s a quick recap of the finalists competing tonight are:
- Karen Waldrup (Team Dan + Shay)
- Nathan Chester (Team Legend)
- Josh Sanders (Team Reba)
- Asher HaVon (Team Reba)
- Bryan Olesen (Team Legend)
Nathan Chester from Team Legend and Asher HaVon from Team Reba gave us our standout performances on Monday night and both deserve to win, so here’s hoping one might pick up the win!
Niall Horan won The Voice last year
No matter who wins, it will be a new coach taking home the win this season! That’s because The Voice season 24 winner was from Team Niall and since Niall Horan didn’t return for this season, he can’t repeat as the winning coach! Last season, it was Michael Huntley that won the season taking home the victory for Team Niall as he prepared to depart the series to head out on tour.
