Eric has been making a steady recovery on The Bold and the Beautiful which is why it's exciting to learn he's going to be cleared to leave the hospital. Fingers crossed all goes well. The drama the week of Jan. 15, however, is going to be all about Thomas' confession to Hope and, seemingly, more progress on the 'Could Bill be Luna's father?' plot.

  • Monday, Jan. 15: Hope's rattled by Thomas' story about the night Emma died. Steffy makes another attempt to convince Finn to believe her brother and not Xander.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 16: RJ and Luna decide to take the next step in their relationship. Hope shares with Brooke that she's beginning to have reservations about Thomas' past deeds.
  • Wednesday, Jan. 17: Li scolds Poppy when she finds out her sister has been seeing Bill Spencer. It's time to celebrate when the Forresters receive word Eric will soon be released from the hospital.
  • Thursday, Jan. 18: Bill's delighted by Poppy during their second date. As the two enjoy themselves at Il Giardino, Sheila and Deacon try to understand how this unexpected duo even connected.
  • Friday, Jan. 19: Eric and Ridge have an emotional moment. RJ's plans to take Luna to the beach house he's rented run right into Bill's who is already there with Poppy.

I don't think anyone's surprised by Hope going straight to her mother after Thomas shared such a world shifting revelation. But I don't think she's going to be as forthcoming with information on just what it is that has her second guessing her relationship with Thomas. It is a sensitive secret after all, but if she does tell Brooke, we can definitely anticipate her and Ridge having a conversation about his son once again.

To be honest, I don't really get how this changes things. Hope was very aware of the lengths Thomas was willing to go to in order to keep her in his life back then. However, she's consistently looked past that even when they weren't romantically involved, especially when his presence in her life was beneficial to her. So, while this is a definite speed bump, I doubt she's going to cut ties with him.

But it is a good thing that we've got other plots to focus on because these cyclical conversations between Steffy and Finn are growing tiresome. It'll be nice to circle back to Poppy and Bill. Their fledgling relationship is already causing a stir. It was only a matter of time before Li caught wind of her sister's involvement with the billionaire. And, of course, she has something to say about it, but her ire isn't going to stop Poppy from pursuing the man's interest in her.

As for her daughter, Luna, her romance with RJ has only grown over the past weeks. So much so that the spoilers seem to be suggesting the two will be spending the night together. Or at least, that's the plan. Considering the spot RJ wants to take Luna is already going to be occupied by her mother and Bill, their romantic night for two may not actually happen.

I'm hoping the soap isn't flirting with Bill and Luna coming face to face again with no intention on making any progress on whether or not he's her father. This is happening on a Friday, so I'd love a cliffhanger where she walks in just as it's being mentioned that Bill could be her father. I mean Darin Brooks is going to be back on The Bold and the Beautiful come Wednesday, Jan. 17, who's to say he won't be sticking around to be introduced to the latest Spencer child to make an appearance? Here's hoping!
