We're in the thick of summer but autumn is inching closer with every passing day. As such, Fall TV is definitely on our minds. Particularly when our favorite scripted shows will be making their return to broadcast. CBS' previously announced slate, had the majority of programs releasing new seasons or debuting in October with some heavy-hitters being kept to the tail end of the month. However, the network recently made a tweak to the schedule that's sure to excite Tracker fans.

The mega-hit drama starring Justin Hartley outperformed during its freshman run. The sooner the show is back on-screen, the sooner we can all find out more about Colter Shaw, his siblings Russell and Dory, and the events of the past that had Colter believing his brother killed their father. It looks like CBS feels the same as TVLine reports the season 2 premiere won't be Sunday, Oct. 27 after all.

Tracker's return is now scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. ET, a full two weeks ahead of the previous premiere date! That's great news for fans. However, this shift does come with changing airtimes for the show through Nov. 2. The Equalizer, which is also coming back earlier than expected with its season 5 premiere now set for Oct. 20 at 9:30 p.m., will experience the same airtime shifts.

Here's how CBS' Sunday schedule will look from Oct. 13 to Nov. 2:

Sunday Oct. 13
7 p.m. - 60 Minutes
8 p.m. - Tracker season 2 premiere
9 p.m. - Big Brother season 26 finale

Sunday, Oct. 20
7 p.m. - 60 Minutes
8:30 p.m. - Tracker episode 2
9:30 p.m. - The Equalizer season 5 premiere

Sunday, Oct. 27
7:30 p.m. - 60 Minutes
8:30 p.m. - Tracker episode 3
9:30 p.m. The Equalizer episode 2

Sunday, Nov. 3
7 p.m. - 60 Minutes
8 p.m. - Tracker episode 4
9 p.m. - The Equalizer episode 3

Presumably, both shows will settle into the regular timeslots in November. Tracker's earlier premiere dates does mean that it'll be a part of the kick-off for CBS' premiere week. The show will lead the pack with its second season which is already drumming up buzz due to Jensen Ackles and Melissa Roxburgh's confirmed returns with Ackles' appearance being teased as a multiple episode arc.
