What breed of cat is Marc on Wild Cards?

Wild Cards has a pet companion in the cast! The audience was introduced to Marc in the premiere, "The Infinity Thief," and we can anticipate seeing him every episode in season 1.

While Marc is already a lovable character on the show, we also know that he was taken in by Ellis after his original owner, Ellis' brother, was murdered. The sad backstory for them both, and the house boat they call home, added a deeper layer to their story. We expect Marc will be a cute presence in the procedural, and possibly on cases since he's already been shown getting into Ellis' police cruiser in the premiere. That's sure to be fun!

Now we know, thanks to Marc's unique look, you may be wondering what breed of cat he is. Well, what we can share is that Marc, who's played by a cat named Jonesy, is likely a Devon Rex. According to Hill's Pet, this breed of cat is medium sized and is known for being energetic and active. They love to jump and, like many cats, enjoy the sun. Their fur is also considered fragile so they aren't a breed that is brushed, rather you can rub them gently with a towel for grooming.
