The January 15 episode of America's Got Talent: All-Stars ended with a tribute to the late Michael Stein who shares an unexpected connection to the NBC show.

Following Monday's new episode which saw ten new acts take to the stage in hopes of making it through to the semifinals, America's Got Talent closed the episode out with a simple tribute to Stein that left many viewers curious to learn more about the dedication and Stein's connection to the show.

Stein was a seasoned performer having worked as one of Britney Spears' longtime dancers. After working as Spears' dance captain during her Piece of Me tour in 2018, he joined her as a performer at her Las Vegas residency which launched in 2013.

Among Stein's many entertainment credits was America's Got Talent, with Stein having lent his dance experience to the show. He posted about his work behind the scenes during the auditions just last season via Instagram bidding farewell to the show with the wrap on auditions.

The tribute on Monday's America's Got Talent: All-Stars was a sweet way for the show to honor Stein and celebrate his work with the series.

In addition to America's Got Talent, Stein also made appearances on Fox's Glee and American Idol. He also collaborated with some of Hollywood's biggest stars. In addition to Spears, Stein also worked with pop stars Kylie Minogue and Dove Cameron, as well as The X-Factor winners Little Mix.

On behalf of the Hidden Remote and America's Got Talent communities, our continued condolences go out to Michael Stein's friends and loved ones.
