Tonight, the Top 12 became the Top 9 with three artists going home after America’s vote last night and the Instant Save – if you think this week’s eliminations are brutal wait until next week when nearly half of the artists go home!

Over the course of the show, host Carson Daly revealed the names of the eight artists who made it through to the Top 9 based on America’s votes from Monday night. The four remaining artists then performed once again for the fans at home in a battle for the ninth spot in the Top 9 via the Instant Save. So how who went home and who battled it out for the Instant Save this evening?

The night also included performances from coaches Reba McEntire and John Legend, who took to the stage with some amazing performances sprinkled in between the night's results!

Let’s break down the season 25 Top 12 results! (Be sure to update live as we’ll be adding results as the night progresses)

Maddi Jane (Team Chance)
Nathan Chester (Team Legend)

Who went home tonight on The Voice? (May 7, 2024)

As it just so happened, each coach ended up having an artist in the bottom 4 having to single for survival in the competition. The four artists in jeopardy and battling it out in the Instant Save were Zoe Levert (Team Legend), Tae Lewis (Team Dan + Shay), Nadege (Team Chance), and L. Rodgers (Team Reba).

The Instant Save performances kicked off with Team Chance's Nadege who performed "Smooth Operator," followed by Team Reba's L. Rodgers performing "Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me." Team Legend's Zoe Levert took to the stage next with "Slow Burn," with Team Dan + Shay's Tae Lewis performing the final song in the Instant Save round with a cover of "The Church."

After the final commercial break, the identity of America's Instant Save artist was revealed with Team Dan +Shay's Tae Lewis earning the final spot in the Top 9. That means we said goodbye to the following three artists:

L. Rodgers (Team Reba)
Zoe Levert (Team Legend)
Nadège (Team Chance)
