Who won The Voice season 25: Meet the 2024 winner (and runner-ups)

It seems like Season 25 of The Voice only just began, yet the season is officially over and a new champion has been crowned! 

Season 25 came to a close on May 21 with a three-hour finale event that was full of amazing performances both from the Top 5 as well as several amazing guest performers! The finale saw the Top 5 taking to the stage to perform with their coaches which gave us performances with Reba McEntire and her two artists Josh Sanders adn Asher HaVon, Dan and Shay taking to the stage with their finalist Karen Waldrup, and John Legend performing alongside Nathan Chester and Bryan Olsen. 

Other highlights from the night’s performances included Thomas Rhett, Muni Long, Kate Hudson, and Jelly Roll. Plus we got to see several flashback performances celebrating the show’s 25th season of the show featuring various groups of coaches from over the years including a throwback from season 1 with the OG coaches that kicked off the show. Even though those performances were simply old clips from past seasons, they were still an amazing treat for the audience and a great way to honor the ongoing legacy of the show! 

After a night of amazing performances, the biggest moment of the night came in the final half-hour as the results finally started coming through leading up to the crowning of our season 25 champion! 

The Voice season 25 winner is… 

The results began in the final 10 minutes of the season finale as Carson Daly revealed the results from America’s votes, eliminating the artists one by one. The first artist eliminated from the race coming in fifth place was Team Dan + Shay’s Karen Waldrup, which meant it was going to be either Team Reba or Team Legend taking home the win this season. 

Following the elimination of Karen, we learned the name of the artist finishing in fourth place which was a bit of a shocker! Coming in fourth place was Team Legend’s Nathan Chester, who we honestly could have seen taking it all! Perhaps making Karen and Nathan’s elimination even more shocking was the fact that Team Legends’ Bryan Olesen made it into the final thanks to the Instant Save and not based on America’s vote, so it was assumed he might go home in one of those two spots.

Speaking of Bryan, he was revealed to be our third-place finisher which was a major feat and also meant that Reba McEntire would be the winning coach this season! So which artist from Team Reba won this season? 

The winner of The Voice season 25 was Team Reba’s Asher HaVon! That meant that Josh Sanders from Team Reba was our runner-up and finished the season in second place!
