Why isn't a new episode of Transplant on tonight? (January 26)

The Canadian medical drama, Transplant, is taking a night off on Friday, Jan. 26. Why, and when will it return?

Fridays have become all about the Canadian medical drama Transplant. However, the show isn’t going to air tonight, Friday, Jan. 26.

There aren’t many episodes of Transplant Season 3 left to air. In fact, there are just two, so it does seem strange that NBC would opt not to air the episode tonight.

The show is preempted due to the U.S. Figure Skating Championships. The airing of the championships will take all night, meaning there isn’t a slot in the schedule for the medical drama. The good news is we don’t have to wait too long for Bash and co. to return.

When will Transplant air new episodes on NBC?

Transplant Season 3, Episode 12 will air on Friday, Feb. 2. NBC has made it clear that this is the return date on its website so fans are ready for it. It is set to air at 8 p.m. ET/PT, although the listings on TV Guide say it will be a rerun of The Wall right now. We’ll trust the NBC website for this one.

The new episode will see Bash face someone from his past. This is a man who faces people from his past all the time. As he is also solving a national health crisis, it will be interesting to see if the figure from the past will help or hinder the situation.

Meanwhile, Devi’s leadership is being questioned by those higher up. She has made some big changes since taking over from Dr. Bishop, and some of those changes have led to financial issues and understaffing problems.

Mags tried to deal with the financial issues in the past, but it was quickly pointed out that she shouldn’t be using her own money to solve a bigger problem. If people keep doing that, the administration won’t see that they need to step in. Is this one of the choices that she’ll end up regretting to have made in this new episode?

"Bash faces an important figure from his past and must solve a public health crisis; hospital administration calls Devi's leadership into question; Mags doubts all of her choices; June is asked to oversee a sensitive procedure."
