A wedding goes dangerously wrong in Rescue: Hi-Surf season 1, episode 7 (Preview)

After taking a week off, Will, Em, and the others are back for more daring rescues. Let’s take a look at what Rescue: Hi-Surf season 1, episode 7 is set to bring.

There is still a lot going on personally for the characters, especially when it comes to Sonny. The captain is struggling with the loss of Zion, and Em had to call him out on the way he’s handling it. Well, it looks like Sonny is finally taking things seriously.

In the promo for the new episode, Sonny asks Em if she’s ready to become captain. We know that Em makes a great lieutenant, but when she told Sonny to step down if he wasn’t going to step up, she didn’t really mean for her to take over his spot, did she? Wasn’t that just said out of frustration to get him to step up?

Rescuing a bride and other wedding drama in Rescue: Hi-Surf season 1, episode 7

Meanwhile, Em will need to deal with a daring rescue with Laka and Will. A bride ends up swept away. It turns out that this bride is an influencer, but at the same time, I don’t blame her for wanting a wedding on the beach. She just didn’t think things through when it came to her dress on the most dangerous stretch of beach in the world.

Her dress gets caught on a reef. The rescuers will need to work fast to get her free as more waves come crashing in. She might re-think her job after this.

Will has his own wedding drama. His fiancé does not want Em at the wedding, and you can’t really blame her. It’s clear Will and Em still have feelings for each other, and while the fiancé may trust Will, she doesn’t necessarily want to deal with his ex being at her wedding. This was someone Will wanted to marry, so of course the bride wants her to stay as far away as possible.

"Will, Laka and Em receive a call to rescue an influencer in a wedding dress that gets swept into the ocean while trying to film a new video. Kainalu and Hina discuss setting boundaries within their home, and Mayor Emerson makes good on his word with Captain Sonny. Meanwhile, Will breaks it to Em that his fiancé does not want her invited to their wedding, and Jenn finally agrees to go on a date with Laka."
