BBC's Strictly Come Dancing delivered a very unusual Saturday show last night. By that, we mean that it didn't adopt the typical Movies Week theme that Week 3 is renowned for (as the producers switched things up this year, moving that to Week 2). What we got instead was a darn good night of straightforward dancing - and there were some showstoppers in sight!
Delta Goodrem and Kai Widdrington found themselves atop of the Leaderboard for another week with their sensational Salsa that had the judges absolutely raving about it. Tabby and Mark delivered the show-stopping, show-closing Argentine Tango that absolutely put the rest of the competition on notice. And Lacey and Vito opened the show with a party-themed Samba that kicked things off on a high.
The question is: What will go down in the Sunday night Results show? Here's an early preview, giving you everything you need to know - from start time to what to actually expect from the Dance-Off.
Strictly Week 3's Results Show returns to the show's legendary Sunday timeslot
Strictly Come Dancing Week 3's Results Show will air on BBC One at 7:10 p.m. BST (while also being available to stream on BBC iPlayer). If you have been watching the show regularly, you will know that this is the Results Show's regular timeslot, with it airing here essentially every year that it has been in existence (with an exception for last year, which was delayed to launch Kingdom). It did indeed pick that timeslot back up for the first Results Show on Week 2.
The episode will run or the typical 50 minute runtime, meaning that it will conclude at 8:00 p.m. BST, with Antiques Roadshow airing immediately after that. As the episode is pre-recorded, it will air in that exact timeslot with no danger at all of running over time.
What you can expect from this week's Results Show and the Dance-Off
Ballroom and Latin fans will be in for a treat on this week's Results Show, as Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke will be taking to the dancefloor to take part in a historic Latin vs. Ballroom routine. Yes, the Queen of Latin will be taking on the King of the Ballroom in a routine that is sure to make Strictly fans extremely happy.
There will also be music from American musician Jalen Ngonda, which is expected to serve as the evening's second performance. Although given how much the Results Show has repeatedly changed over the past year (with a lot of fan criticism aimed at it), who knows which order the performances will be in.
That brings us to the Dance-Off. Which couples will get through safely to Icons Week next weekend, who will have to dance off again, and which couple will be going home? It's going to be a tense evening for every couple as there were a lot of ties on the Leaderboard, which always closes the gap between the people at the top and the people at the bottom - potentially putting everyone from the middle-down in danger of falling into the Dance-Off despite higher scores.
While the obvious choices for the Dance-Off are Melanie and Aljaž and Shaun and Alexis, the truth is that any of the couples in the lower end of the Leaderboard (including those in the lower middle) are in danger this week. It all depends on who has the higher public vote at this point, as that will break the ties and choose the definitive Bottom Two.
