The Hunting Party made its debut weeks earlier than initially expected. NBC took advantage of a big Divisional Playoff Game, and now we’re all waiting for the next episode. There’s some bad news tonight, Monday, Feb. 3.
In some good news, there is an episode on. The series will start off airing in its regular time slot tonight. You’ll want to tune in at 10 p.m. Et/PT, straight after a new episode of The Voice. In some bad news, it’s not going to be a new episode.
NBC will air a rerun of The Hunting Party
Yes, there will be a rerun. This is going to be of the series premiere, as it’s the only episode out. It makes sense to air it tonight, as the series was set to premiere tonight anyway. This is just helping viewers get used to the new Monday night lineup.
After that, we’ll get new episodes starting from next Monday, Feb. 10. The promo already gives us a hint at things to come in the season, but we’re ready to see what’s to come in the new episode.
What to expect in The Hunting Party season 1, episode 2
The new episode is titled “Clayton Jessup,” and as the first episode, the target is the name of the title. These are all escaped killers, and they are far more dangerous than they were before they were arrested the first time. Now they have been psychologically tested on, and they will spiral.
Clayton targeted families when he was out the first time. That’s who he is sure to go after again, and the team looking to captured the escaped prisoners will have a race against time to stop him.
Bex will need to learn who she can and can’t trust in this episode. There are a lot of questions that she has about The Pit and who was behind it all. There are a lot of questions she has about who is in charge of the task force brought together to catch the killers, and just how many have escaped. She isn’t going to get many answers any time soon.
