There’s a new season of The Masked Singer, and that means more celebrities under more amazing costumes. The Masked Singer season 13 premiere saw the first contestant from Group A eliminated.

Of course, the first episode brings the first set of clues. These are a great snapshot of the person behind the mask. There were certainly some great clues, and the voices may give some of the stars away, but this isn’t about the individual masks.
You want to know who was eliminated in the first episode. That brings us the reveal of the first celebrity under the mask.
The Masked Singer season 13 premiere elimination
Five singers took to the stage under their masks. We saw Honey Pot, Ant, Paparazzo, Fuzzy Peas, and Coral. There were certainly some stunning costumes once more, and the clues had us all guessing.
In the end, one had to go home. It was Honey Pot’s turn to go home in the first episode. While his rendition of “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake was good, it wasn’t quite as good as the rest of the performances.
Who was under the Honey Pot mask?
This brought us the reveal of the first celebrity. Who would be under the mask?
There were some good guesses from the panelists. Ken guessed it right from the beginning, and the personal clue at the very end of the Hollywood star was the giveaway for Jenny to agree with Ken. They both guessed that it was Cedric the Entertainer.
Sure enough, The Neighborhood star was the one under the mask. I think a lot of people on X/Twitter were set on it being Cedric the Entertainer.
The remaining members of Group A will head into the competition on Wednesday, Feb. 19. We’ll see another singer eliminated, but who will it be?
