What's on TV tonight, Dec. 23, 2024? (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW)

It's Christmas week, and the TV schedule is anything but ordinary. Here's what you can watch across the broadcast networks tonight, Monday, Dec. 23.

NCIS - “Humbug” - Monday, Dec. 16 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) When a shocking tell-all threatens to ruin Christmas for a decorated Marine, NCIS must unwrap the truth and deliver a holiday miracle — before the book hits shelves and turns a hero’s legacy into a holiday disaster. Pictured (L-R): Gary Cole as NCIS Special Agent Alden Parker, Sean Murray as Special Agent Timothy McGee, and Wilmer Valderrama as NCIS Special Agent Nicholas “Nick” Torres.

As we start Christmas week, we’re looking at a very different TV schedule to normal. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing on. It’s just harder to keep track this week. Here’s a look at everything on TV tonight, Monday, Dec. 23.

Just because we’re in the off schedule doesn’t mean we’ll stop bringing you a look at everything airing throughout the primetime slots of 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET/PT. After all, you’ll want to know what you can tune into each night if you don’t have other plans with the family or with friends.

NCIS reruns, Saturday Night Live Christmas special rerun, and more

If you’re in the mood for something Christmasy, NBC is the network to turn to. It all starts with a reshowing of Christmas at Graceland, which sees artists perform some of Elvis Prestley’s biggest hits while at his Graceland home.

After that, you can tune into the rerun of the Saturday Night Live Christmas special. This looks back at 50 years of SNL Christmases gone, bringing back some of the best sketches. It’s a repeat of the episode that aired last week, just in case you weren’t sure if you missed something.

Mondays are all about an hour of comedy and then the NCIS shows over on CBS. The same can be said for this Monday, Dec. 23. However, you won’t get new episodes of the four shows. Instead, we’re getting a night of reruns, with NCIS season 22’s premiere kicking off the two-hour block of this franchise. If you missed how the season started and need to see Knight come back to the team after choosing to leave at the end of season 21, then you’ll want to check out this rerun.

The most normal of the schedule tonight is Monday Night Football, over on ABC. The Packers will host the Saints in a showdown. Don’t forget that this week (although technically next week in the football schedule) is going to include two games on Christmas Day. They’ll both air on Netflix.
