Last Friday, there was a lot of focus on reruns and holiday programming. It’s time to get back to somewhat normalcy in the TV schedule tonight, Friday, Dec. 6.

We are hitting the winter period. A lot of shows are taking time off, and Fridays are already a quiet night across most networks. The good news is that CBS is back to normal with its schedule, and we have plenty of comedy to check out on The CW. If you’re into sports, the Big 5 networks also have you covered. Get ready for a great night of TV.

Blue Bloods, Bob Hearts Abishola, and more

Friday nights are all about CBS dramas. These shows are what we mostly tune into TV on a Friday for, right? Well, after taking Black Friday off, the shows are back on. We have two more episodes of all three shows—and two episodes left of all of Blue Bloods.

Speaking of Blue Bloods, this episode is a big one for Eddie. She and her partner Badillo turn up to a call from a man who has come home to find out his home has a squatter. That should be somewhat easy to deal with, right? Well, it becomes an issue when Eddie realizes that the squatter is Jamie’s CI. That is sure to complicate things for everyone.

Meanwhile, Station 42 will attend a false alarm in Fire Country. This false alarm is set up on purpose, putting the crew in a far more dangerous situation. Who would have thought there was something more dangerous than running into burning buildings?

Over on ABC, the American Athletic Football Championship will take place. FOX also has a game playing. The Mountain West Football Championship will air over on that network. You’re spoiled if you want sports!

What if you want some comedy? The CW has you covered throughout the night. There are two episodes of Bob Hearts Abishola followed by two episodes of Children Ruin Everything. These are perfect for those who just want to relax and have a laugh to end a long week back after Thanksgiving.
