What's on TV tonight, Dec. 9, 2024? (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW)
There are still episodes of our favorite TV shows on tonight, Monday, Dec. 9. However, many networks are opting for seasonal content now that shows are off the air.
The 911: Lone Star midseason finale aired last Monday. That means we’re into the winter break, and FOX and The CW have some specials airing tonight. One show is going to be good fun, especially if you want to see the likes of Anthony Anderson and Taye Diggs on your screen.
Meanwhile, some networks still have new episodes of top shows. There’s also some sports to check out.
Brilliant Minds, NCIS: Origins, and more
We’ll start with CBS, which has a full night of new shows. We’re getting closer to the fall finales of the Monday night shows. They will air next Monday, which means two more new episodes of all respective shows.
We didn’t have details of NCIS: Origins at the time of writing this, but it is new. We’ll continue to see Gibbs’ journey as he figures out how to live his life without Kelly and Shannon.
NCIS will air a new episode, which sees Parker’s memories of Lily come up again. He hasn’t figured out who Lily is yet, and we’re curious about how she’s related or connected to him. What happened all those years ago? There’s a chance that some of the answers will come in the new episode.
Meanwhile, NBC has a major episode of Brilliant Minds to air. Titled “The Other Woman,” we’ll see Morris’ affair partner show back up. At least, that’s the assumption. Dr. Pierce treats a patient in crisis, but it forms an ethical dilemma. She’s already been putting her career on the line by treating her husband’s mistress knowingly. However, this mistress clearly needs some psychological help. She’s a dangerous woman, and she isn’t afraid to let people know she’s capable of harm.
The episode will also give Wolf and Nichols a hiccup in their relationship. Professionally, they will disagree on how to treat a patient. Will this cause problems with their budding romance? I hope they can get past it and realize that their professional lives don’t have to affect their personal ones.
Over on FOX, we have a night of fun. The whole night is dedicated to a new series called The Real Full Monty. Anthony Anderson hosts and is ready to star in a real-life Full Monty. He wants to get the likes of Taye Diggs and James Van Der Beek involved in this show.
