While the rest of the week was back to almost normal, that’s not the case for Sundays. There’s still a bit to go for a normal-looking Sunday night, but we have some great shows and movies to watch on broadcast TV tonight, Sunday, Feb. 2.
Sundays are all about football and award shows this time of year. After a couple of weekends that were all about the NFL, we’re back to award shows tonight. It’s all about the Grammy’s.
Grammy Awards, NASCAR Cup Series, and more
Tonight is all about the 67th Grammy Awards, and that means the majority of other networks aren’t airing anything new. This is a big moment for singers and rappers around the world. We’ll get standout performances from many artists, while also finding out who will win the big awards for the year.
It’s a full-night event on CBS. It’s expected to draw in the crowds.
If you’re not interested in music awards or just award shows in general, what can you watch? NASCAR fans will be happy to hear that the NASCAR Cup Series will get an airing on FOX tonight. This is a trip to the Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It takes up the whole night on the network.
Not interest in sports either? Okay, other networks will have you covered. How about watching Point Break again (or for the first time if you missed this movie). Keanu Reeves plays a federal agent who infiltrates a suspected gang. This gang is suspected of robbing banks while wearing masks for former presidents. He ends up falling in love with a female surfer who is close to the gang, and that leads to some major complications as he learns more.
NBC has a night of crime. It all starts with a rerun of The Hunting Party series premiere. This isn’t too surprising as it’s the big show that NBC is pushing this year. Fans will also get to watch a rerun of the episode on Monday, Feb. 3, so don’t worry too much if you do want to watch the Grammys tonight. NBC gets it.
