Fridays are starting to get back to normal. However, there are some changes to the NBC lineup tonight, Friday, Jan. 24. It’s time to see what’s on across the Big 5 networks.

While NBC takes a night off normal programming, The CW’s new normal programming begins for the year. There’s not long to wait before CBS is also back to normal! Now you just need to decide what you want to watch.

Figure skating, Masters of Illusions, and more

Let’s start with the small change to the NBC lineup. The whole Friday night is dedicated to figure skating. For the three hours, we’ll get coverage of the U.S. National Figure Skating Championships, which is a huge step for those looking to compete in the next Winter Olympics. This means there won’t be any episodes of Happy’s Place or Lopez vs. Lopez tonight.

Over on The CW, the regular programming has started. After weeks of reruns, we’ll finally get new episodes of Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Masters of Illusions. Ed Alonzo, Eric Eaton, and Alexandra are among the magicians showing off their cutting-edge illusions in Masters of Illusions.

As for Penn & Teller: Fool Us, we get a special 50th Anniversary special. It’s hard to believe that Penn and Teller have been working together for so long. What’s even better is that they remain best of friends and a great duo on the stage.

CBS has a night of reruns. There isn’t much longer left to wait for new episodes of Fire Country and SWAT, although NCIS: Sydney will be delayed by an extra week. The rerun of Fire Country focuses on Gabriela’s wedding day, as she prepares to say “I Do.” Of course, we know that her wedding day didn’t quite work out the way that she planned it, and not just because her dad was arrested. If you need a reminder of the lead up to the wedding day, you’ll want to watch the episode tonight.
