It may be the Sunday before New Year’s Eve, but some networks have new episodes of top shows on. Well, one network has new episodes of top shows on TV tonight, Sunday, Dec. 29.

Yes, FOX has a night of new episodes of three of its comedies. One of them is an extra special episode, as it is the season finale! We’ll see a small change to the Sunday night lineup in the new year, which we’ve already taken a look at with the winter 2025 schedule.

Universal Basic Guys, Sunday Night Football, and more

We start with FOX, as it has new episodes of The Simpsons, Universal Basic Guys, and Bob’s Burgers. The middle show is the season finale, and it will see Mark go into business with Gary & Barry’s Water Ice Shoppe. This is only because he’s learned he’ll lose his favorite summer snack when they close for the winter, something they do often. He’s going to keep it going. At least, that’s what he thinks.

Meanwhile, Marge and Smithers will team up in The Simpsons. They become wine-forging Robin Hoods, but how long will that last considering Smithers’s love for Mr. Burns?

If you’re interested in sports, NBC has you covered. It’s all about Sunday Night Football. The Falcons will face off against the Commanders at the Commanders home. Considering the Commanders are sitting at 10-5, while the Falcons are at 8-7, it looks like it should be a Commanders win, but the Falcons aren’t going to let it go that easy.

Meanwhile, ABC has a night for the kids. It’s all about the Frozen movies, with both of them airing on the network. You’ll need to tune in at 7 p.m. ET/PT to watch both of them. Of course, this is with commercials, so if you want to watch the movies uninterrupted, you can put them on Disney+ for the night. It’s completely up to you!
