After almost a decade on the air, 911 fans have grown used to unexpected casting shakeups. But the hit procedural drama's latest spinoff 911: Nashville hasn't even complete its first season, and the series could be facing the possibility of losing a main character already.
While ABC recently renewed the freshman drama for season 2, the latest episode of the series teases that one of the main characters might be pondering life outside of Station 113. The network revealed the synopsis for 911: Nashville season 1 episode 13 ahead of its airing on Thursday, March 12, and Taylor (Hailey Kilgore) receives a major music opportunity that could open some doors.
According to the synopsis as shared by ABC, "After saving a father and daughter from a cliffside crash, Taylor lands an invite to record with a Nashville idol, which leads her to consider how far she’ll go for fame." Even though the synopsis doesn't reveal who this Nashville idol is, we know that music is a big part of Taylor's life and getting this chance brings her closer to following her dreams.

New photos from the episode, which is titled "Small Potatoes," find Taylor sitting behind a piano, seemingly playing some music for her coworkers at the station. Clearly, Taylor has support from her work family to pursue this exciting opportunity to record with a major story in the Nashville music scene, but would this really mean that Taylor will leave the station and the show?
Honestly, it's highly unlikely that 911: Nashville will already be saying goodbye to a main character, and especially not Taylor. The synopsis for season 1 episode 13 sounds concerning when it comes to Taylor getting such a big opening in a potential new career, but there's no indication that she's actually going to leave her team behind in search of stardom, something the episode will tackle.
Not to mention, the rest of the episode's synopsis teases even more that's in store for Taylor. On top of pondering the future of her music dreams and the lure of fame, Taylor and Blue are going public with their relationship. After keeping their connection from the rest of the team, they are going to be open with everyone about their feelings for each other and make it official.
Blue and Taylor's sparks first took off in season 1 episode 10, "Let it R.I.P.," as their flirtations in the kitchen turned into something a little more. Ryan had initially advised Blue not to embark on a firehouse romance, for obvious workplace reasons, and he almost didn't since he momentarily believed Taylor was dating her gay roommate. But attraction is attraction!
911: Nashville more than likely would not progress Blue and Taylor's relationship if the series was intending to write Taylor out to pursue a music career outside of the firehouse. So, we shouldn't worry too much about Taylor's future on the show, at the firehouse, or with Blue. There's a lot to look forward to for her character, and it's exciting that she's finally going to get more of the spotlight.
