John Watson loves his mysteries, and he has a new one to solve in Watson season 1, episode 10. This one is certainly going to be more detective than medical mystery, though.

There’s a lot going on for Watson at the moment. In the previous episode, he decided to stand with Mary after learning about all the lies Ingrid had recently told. Those lies led to her sister being brought into the hospital due to suffering some serious complications from her spinal trial. It turned out that Ingrid lied about other medication, which led to the complications.

Ingrid is nowhere to be seen in the new trailer for the show. She was given two months to find a new job or she’ll be fired, and it’s highly likely that she’ll hold a grudge. This is a woman who is highly manipulative, and I wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her!

The man with the alien hands in Watson season 1, episode 10

The case itself is an interesting one. When a man throws his brother in front of a bus, there are a lot of questions about whether he meant to do it or not. And no, not in that he did it in a split second of not thinking. Watson thinks that he may have a rare condition called alien hand syndrome.

Yes, it’s extremely rare. It’s also know as Dr. Strangelove Syndrome, and it’s when the limbs act of their own accord. There is no reasoning behind it and no control at all.

Now Watson will need to get to the bottom of the condition. If someone has a disorder like this, can they be charged with murder? Would it end up being manslaughter? What about accidental death? It’s so hard to tell, and that’s why Watson will need to turn detective. You see, he’ll need to help determine whether it really is alien hand syndrome or not. Someone could easily say they have it to literally get away with murder, right?
