We know that Watson will do what he needs to do for his patients. It turns out that means breaking the law in Watson season 1, episode 5.

During the previous episode, we saw just how much Watson knows and remembers, but also how much he will help his team. He wanted Sasha to delve into parts of her memory that she couldn’t just immediately recall, going through some well-known tricks to get that. Our brains are connected to all of our senses, and we need to connect with them to connect to some of our memories.

The new episode is going to delve into how Watson will help his patients. Does this mean breaking the law?

An unorthodox treatment in Watson season 1, episode 4

The new episode will bring Watson a patient with sickle cell anemia. This brings a number of issues, so the idea of Watson doing some sort of unorthodox treatment seems wild. Why would he risk his career and his patient for the sake of some treatment? It’s because he believes so much that it will help rather than hinder.

Of course, he’ll need to get the patient’s permission to do this. Will she opt for it? It seems like she’ll consider it. She just wants to know why this doctor is willing to push boundaries and circumvent the law for her.

It also looks like this is all going to come out in the hospital. I bet Mary learns what her ex-husband is about to do something against the law. There’s only so much that Shinwell can do to protect his friend, especially when Moriarty is pulling some strings in the background.

Mary has already sent the Board of Directors a warning about Watson. This could lead to another one, and the clinic is sure to be shut down. We see this all the time in TV shows. Just look at how often the Board of Directors attempted to get rid of Dr. House in House!
