If you’re in the mood for a new comedy, get ready for tonight. FOX has a night of new episodes of shows, and one of them is the new series, Going Dutch. The half-hour comedy is perfect for those who want something light-hearted and calming.
The series will air at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, straight after a new episode of Animal Control. Of course, before you get into a new series, you need to know a little about it. Who will star in it, and what is it about?
Going Dutch is a story of a man looking for redemption
The Colonel is a man on a mission for redemption. He’s been demoted after an unfiltered rant about General Davidson, and as punishment, he’s been sent to the Netherlands to the American Army’s smallest base in the world.
The Colonel is now at USAG Stroopsdorf, which turns out to be the same base as his estranged daughter, Captain Quinn. Stroopsdorf isn’t known for much. The base is known for love of cheese, bowling, and laundry—not necessarily in that order! This is a complete change of pace for The Colonel, and he realizes that he’s been sent here to be made a laughing stock. He won’t let that happen, though.
Captain Quinn shares that she has a crucial operation for the soldiers. They will need to march at the town’s Tulip Festival. Now can any of them march?
This series is more than a man looking for redemption in his career. It’s also a chance for him to redeem his relationship with his daughter, but can he get past her very different leadership style?

Who stars in Going Dutch on FOX?
Denis Leary stars as Colonel Patrick Quinn in the new FOX series. Taylor Misiak will take on the role of his estranged daughter, Captain Quinn.

Catherine Tate, who is best known to many as Donna in Doctor Who will take on the role of Katja Vanderhoff, but we’ll need to wait to see her in the show to get an idea of what to expect. She isn’t in the trailer!

Now you need to know how you’re watching the show. As Going Dutch is on FOX, you can watch it with your regular cable or you can use something like Sling TV or Fubo TV. Episodes air at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on Thursday nights.
