What's on TV tonight? (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The CW on Oct. 16, 2024)

Wednesday nights are all about One Chicago, but CBS premieres continue. Here's what to expect on TV tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 16.

One Chicago tends to take over on Wednesday nights for a lot of people. What’s on TV tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 16 as CBS continues its premiere week?

Well, for CBS, there isn’t much different tonight compared to previous weeks. The reality shows already started their premieres weeks earlier, and we get new episodes of The Summit and Survivor tonight. So, what about the other networks?

One Chicago Wednesday, The Golden Bachelorette, and more

Of course, for NBC, it’s all about the three One Chicago shows. Things kick off with Chicago Med, but it’s Chicago Fire that we’re keeping a close eye on. Violet makes a decision on a call that could see her fired from the job. EMTs are there to perform the initial emergency treatment and rush to the hospital, not perform C-sections, so it’s not surprising that Violet is potentially going to lose her license.

It’s also a great night for reality TV. The Golden Bachelorette continues, and the hometowns are looming on Joan and her remaining five bachelors. She will need to make a big decision before she heads out to meet the families of her suitors. Of course, that means drama, but aren’t they all too old for drama now?

If you love music, then you’ll want to turn your attention to FOX. The Masked Singer continues, and we get a new group starting out. That means new costumes and new clues to guess. Group B takes the stage with renditions of songs like “Believe” and “Rock Your Body.”

As for The CW, a new episode of Sullivan’s Crossing airs before an hour of sporting goodness. It’s Inside the NFL for the football fans out there. This does seem odd for The CW that we used to know, but a lot is changing about the network.
