There is something for everyone across broadcast TV tonight, Wednesday, April 2. That’s sure to make it harder to figure out what to watch and what to stream the following day.

The networks are packed with shows, whether you want drama, comedy, or reality TV. Of course, some shows are on the bubble still, and they’re the ones you’ll want to watch to make sure they’re renewed. At the same time, we have big episodes of shows that you won’t want to miss.

4 shows to watch, and 1 to skip tonight, Wednesday, April 2

With so much on, it can be difficult to choose what you want to watch live or not. Our list doesn’t discredit anything, as we know how hard people work to make TV come to life. However, there are some shows that you can get away with watching on streaming platforms the following day.

Wild Cards is the show to watch live to start the night. This is a Canadian-American adventure, and it is still looking for its renewal. The new episode takes Max and Ellis to a dog show competition, where a judge has been murdered. Is the world of dog shows so important that people will kill?

While it seems a given that Chicago Fire will be renewed, it hasn’t scored a renewal just yet. The latest episode is one that is focused on Violet and Novak, as they get an odd case involving a bodybuilder. They need to find out while this bodybuilder needs medical attention. Violet is sure that there’s something she’s missing.

Stick with NBC to end the night, as Chicago PD will air a new episode. This is one for the Atwater fans out there, as he gets a person storyline. This time it involves his current fling/love interest, Val. A hunt for a suspect in a shooting seems to have a personal connection to the two of them, and it looks like their relationship is going to come out. At least the two of them haven’t been doing anything wrong, unlike Torres and Gloria from last season, so it’s just more of a personal thing for Atwater at this point.

Record Good Cop/Bad Cop and put that episode on at the end of the night. This is a light-hearted, fun series that is packed with a great brother-sister bond. Hank needs to deal with another murder in his small town when it turns out that an accidental death of a rodeo champion is actually murder.

What about the shows to skip? Keep in mind that you’re not skipping; you’re just waiting for streaming the next day or you can DVR and watch the following day. What Would You Do? is the show for tonight, as it’s one of those that is more than likely to be renewed, even though it hasn’t just yet. This is one of those shows that has seen a resurgence because of shorts on social media.
