Thursday nights have been off for the last couple of weeks, but things are back to normal. There’s plenty to watch tonight, Thursday, April 3, on the broadcast networks.
CBS is back to normal after two weeks of basketball. NBC will also bring new episodes of its usual Thursday shows. Now you just need to decide what you’re in the mood for, but we do have some recommendations based on what’s hot, what’s new, and what’s on the bubble.
4 shows to watch and 2 to skip tonight, Thursday, April 3
Start the night with some intense drama with 911. This show is surprisingly still on the bubble (at the time of writing this), although we’re sure to see a ninth season. The new episode will put Hen in danger in the line of duty, as she decides that she wants to be the hostage negotiator in a crisis situation. She ends up becoming another hostage, as the man isn’t going to let anyone off his bus.
After that, you’ll want to switch over to FOX for some fun reality TV. Farmer Wants a Wife will air a new episode, and this episode sees the male contestants have their friends step in to help them. I love that we get to see the friends meet the potential wives early on in this series, as it is important for everyone to get along; otherwise there are a lot of choices a person needs to make on a daily basis.
For the third hour of the night, switch over to NBC for another intense drama series. Found airs a new episode, directed by Mark-Paul Gosselaar. This one sees the M&A Team in their own hostage situation, when a man who Gabi has had previous experience dealing with comes for help. He isn’t willing to leave until Gabi is able to find his son, but he also won’t make it easy for them as it looks like everyone has to stay in the office.
Once you’ve worked your way through all the shows live, you may have an hour to watch another show. Record Doctor Odyssey to watch that right away, as you’ll want to catch up on the spicy drama. It’s Spring Break, and that means a bunch of teenagers on the ship. What could possibly go wrong? Well, everything when this series is involved!
What about the shows to skip? What will you get away with watching the following day? Both Law & Order shows on NBC are sure to be renewed, so I’d say those two are the safe ones. Watch on Peacock so that NBC knows that you’re still interested, though! The two episodes are big ones, especially SVU for Carisi.
You can also get away with watching the entire CBS lineup on delayed viewing the following day. Everything has been renewed on that network!
