It’s Sunday, and that usually means there’s plenty to watch across the broadcast networks. There are a few shows taking a break tonight, Sunday, April 6.
CBS is taking a night off from its usual Sunday lineup. That’s quite common this time of year. The networks need to space out the remaining episodes to ensure they air when the finale dates are set. The good news is there’s plenty to watch on the other networks.
4 shows to watch and 1 to skip tonight, Friday, April 4
With still so much to watch, it can be difficult to choose what you watch live and what you skip for the following day. We always come with some suggestions, and there are still certain shows that you’ll want to pay attention to.
Why not start with The Americas tonight? The series has been a great look into the world of North and South America, touching on wildlife that we wouldn’t usually get the opportunity to see at work. We’re heading to the West Coast for this episode, taking a look at sea otters, whales, and octopuses in their elements.
Stick with NBC after that and tune into Suits: LA, as this show remains on the bubble at the network. There’s still certainly some work that it can do to thrive, with this episode showing some hope for Ted and Rick when there’s a client death that they need to face together. Meanwhile, Leah starts thinking that there’s a better job elsewhere, and Samantha and Stuart are the latest to butt heads over a client. There’s always some sort of drama between the lawyers.
Finish the night with The $100,000 Pyramid. Sometimes, you just need something light and fun to watch, and this game show is certainly that. It’s a great way to wrap up Sunday nights as you prepare for another workweek.
Make sure you record An Evening with Elton John and Brandi Carlile so that you can tune in at the end of the night. The two are releasing an album together, and throughout the night of performances, they will share the story of how they ended up joining forces.
What’s worth skipping tonight? I’d say that American Idol is one of those shows you can watch the following day on streaming. This is going to be an exciting episode for Jelly Roll fans, as he will mentor the remaining contestants in Hollywood.
