Another Wednesday is here, but this is a little different to normal. Let’s take a look at everything airing across the broadcast networks on Wednesday, April 9.

One thing the One Chicago franchise warned us about is that all three shows are taking a night off from new episodes tonight. The entire NBC lineup is airing reruns, but there are some big episodes to come next Wednesday — including the return of Wallace Boden! So, this gives you plenty of time to check out other shows across the networks.

4 shows to watch and 2 to skip tonight, Wednesday, April 9

With so much on, it can be difficult to find which shows to watch live and which ones to wait until the next day to watch. We’ve got you covered. Just keep in mind that when we say “skip,” we just mean to tune in via streaming that next day.

To kick off the night, why not turn to FOX. The Masked Singer continues, and it’s time for the Group C finals. There have been many celebrities unveiled this season, and some of them were surprising. Now it’s time for Nessy, Yorkie, and Mad Scientist Monster to go head to head for a place in the Lucky Six. One of them will have to go home.

After that, turn your attention to The CW. The Good Cop/Bad Cop season finale airs. It’s hard to believe that we’re already at the season finale, and this show hasn’t been renewed yet, so make sure you watch live to show The CW that you want more. The episode opens with a decades-old murder suspect finally being revealed, and it threatens the whole of Eden Vale.

Make sure you turn to ABC for the next hour of the night for What Would You Do? This is a great series that really tests how people will react in the moment. We all think that we’ll do the right thing, but when it really comes down to it, are we willing to stick our necks out?

After all that, make sure you recorded Abbott Elementary. This is a great way to end your night, and this episode is no different. The teachers come together in an attempt to boost school spirit with a special event. Look, we all know that when people try to boost spirits, it actually does the opposite, until you’re laughing at the mess that was created.

What about the shows to skip? Well, CBS only airs two shows on Wednesdays and they both take up 90 minutes of the night. It’s hard to fit them both in with everything else that’s on, so you’ll want to wait until the following day. Both Survivor and The Amazing Race air on Paramount+ the following day, but stay away from social media so you don’t end up with all the spoilers!
