It’s time for another Friday night of TV. There’s something for all across the broadcast networks tonight, Friday, April 11.

Whether you want true mystery, fictional drama, or a reality show, the Big 5 networks have you covered. FOX is also back with its sporting lineup, which is sure to keep plenty of people entertained tonight.

With so much on, it can be difficult to choose something to watch. We have you covered with some suggestions of shows to watch live and the ones to stream the following day. Of course, if you are a UFL fan, then you’ll need to watch FOX tonight and end your night with some drama. But if you’re not, the other networks have you covered.

3 shows to watch and 1 to skip tonight, Friday, April 11

You’ll want to start the night with the new dramedy Grosse Pointe Garden Society. The move to Friday nights hasn’t changed a lot in the demo, but the total audience figures did go up 20% from the previous episode, according to TV Series Finale. This could be viewed as a good thing, as it means the fanbase that the show has is loyal to follow it to another night. Now we need to continue to watch it live to make a point that this could make a safe midseason Friday night show for NBC.

After that, turn your attention to Fire Country on CBS. Sure, the series has already been renewed, but there are few dramas on Friday nights. This new episode will see Vince attempt to reconnect with his father. There has been a lot of focus on reconnecting with family recently in this show, and I guess that’s the way it started.

If you’re not interested in Fire Country, then I’d say watch the rerun of Mysteries Decoded season 2. We’re into episode 6, which took a look at the Lake Champlain Monster to see if there is evidence that it is real or not. This is a great series that balance both points of view when it comes to these types of mysteries, which is something I appreciate.

The last hour of the night is sure to be for SWAT on CBS. When three cops are killed, 20-Squad is called in to help, and they turn to a psychologist for support with the case. This one reopens old wounds, as they think back to a failed school shooting. SWAT isn’t a stranger to a high school shooting storyline, so who will be at the heart of this story?

What is worth skipping? Well, you can always catch up on NCIS: Sydney the following day. Like the other two CBS shows, a decision has already been made on it, and this one is a good decision. By knowing there’s already a renewal, we can use the timeslot for the bubble NBC series and use Saturday morning to catch up on the Sydney team.
