Are you ready for a night of TV? While things are quiet on NBC, there is plenty to watch on the other broadcast networks tonight, Wednesday, March 12.
The break on NBC is likely to do with spacing out the episodes for the schedule. The entire One Chicago lineup is taking a two week break and will be back on Wednesday, March 26. This is a good chance to check out other shows and see if they’re worth watching.
Shifting Gears, The Masked Singer, and more
ABC has a comedy block to kick-off the night, with Shifting Gears starting things off. When Matt finds Carter has stashed some weed gummies in his pocket, he decides that he needs to sit his grandson down. It will be some surprising advice for Carter, according to the synopsis. Does that mean that Matt is on the side of weed gummies now and then? Meanwhile, Eve needs Gabriel and Stitch to help with a charity auction. What could possibly go wrong?
This is followed by Abbott Elementary, which will see the teachers let their hair down. They head out to a karaoke bar for some fun. While there, Jacob runs into an old friend, and I can’t help but think that this is some sort of unrequited or lost love. What will the teachers do when they find out Jacob knows someone from his past there?
A new episode of The Masked Singer will start off FOX’s night. It’s the second round for Group B, and we need to find out who will go home next. Out of all the singers, Pearl and Boogie Woogie are the strongest, so I’m expecting either Space Ranger or Griffin to head home at the end of the episode. The clue packages are interesting, but it’s not easy to figure out who is underneath these masks.
For those who just want their One Chicago Wednesdays, there is some good news. NBC has a night of reruns, and we’ll go back into the three-way crossover event. That does mean that Chicago Fire starts the night, as we head back into the explosion that rocked the city and almost killed some of our favorite characters.
