More shows are coming to the end of a season. Take a look at everything you can watch on broadcast TV tonight, Monday, March 31.
The end of the month is strong. While The Bachelor came to an end last week, we get more reality TV on ABC tonight. Meanwhile, FOX has a season finale and CBS and NBC continue their regular programming.
4 shows to watch and 1 to skip tonight, Monday, March 31
With so much airing on TV, it can be difficult to figure out what you should watch and what can wait until tomorrow. There are a few great options tonight, so you’ll want to decide whether you’re interested in drama, comedy, or reality TV.
All American is a must-watch to start the night. This is the only CW series left from the pre-Nexstar days, and it remains on the bubble right now. The reboot to the series has worked well, and as we get closer to the end of the season, we need to support it as much as we can.
After that, you’ll want to turn your attention to FOX. Rescue: Hi-Surf airs its first season finale, and this show is also still on the bubble. I’m still surprised that FOX hasn’t renewed the show considering the linear ratings, but here we are, at the season finale not knowing if there’s going to be a cliffhanger and an answer to it. The more we watch, the more FOX will see that we need more of the story!
Another show still on the bubble is The Hunting Party, and that one is getting close to the end. You’ll need to end tonight’s regular primetime viewing with NBC. The episode sees the team track down a man called Tom Beecher, who takes pleasure out of other people’s pain. There’s also hope that we’ll learn a little more about Shane’s biological parents.
After all of that, you can turn to Poppa’s House. It’s the only Monday night show on CBS that hasn’t been renewed yet, and it’s easy to record that and watch it straight after. Junior is focused on making his film, and there may be some extra funding available. Poppa’s purchase at the flea market turns out to be worth a fortune, but will Poppa help?
What about a show to skip? You can save American Idol until tomorrow. We’re into Hollywood Week now, so stay off social media and catch up on the two-hour episode once you get a chance. As other shows start to wrap up their seasons, you’ll be able to enjoy the full American Idol schedule on both Sundays and Mondays for the rest of the season.
