Tuesdays are all about crime dramas across the networks. What’s on broadcast TV tonight, Tuesday, March 4?

We’re used to FBI night on CBS and we’re ready for new episodes of the quirky crime dramas on ABC. Well, things are looking a little different this Tuesday, as it’s all about politics once again. Yes, most of our favorite shows are being pre-empted for the night.

Deal or No Deal Island, Kitchen Nightmares, and more

There are still a few shows that will get new episodes throughout the night. It’s mostly all about the reality shows. Deal or No Deal Island will get a new episode, but it will be at the earlier time of 8 p.m. ET/PT. You’ll want to make sure you get this in your diary, as we’re used to starting Tuesday nights with comedy!

CBS will also bring us a slight change to the first hour of the night. Since the political broadcast doesn’t start until 9 p.m. ET, it means that CBS can opt for a new episode of a show to start the night. It won’t want to bring a new episode of FBI and then have the other two shows an episode behind for the rest of the season. Instead, we’ll get a new episode of The Price Is Right at Night.

Over on FOX, the first hour of the night is as normal. It’s all about Kitchen Nightmares, which sees Gordon Ramsey travel to an Italian restaurant that is in the middle of a family loss. The owner lost his son, and that means the loss of his passion for a lot of things. I always say that the reason there’s no word for the loss of a child (like there’s orphan when it comes to the loss of both parents) is that it’s not supposed to happen in this order. The loss is heartbreaking, and it’s no wonder the restaurant owner initially lost his passion. He’s rediscovered it, and Ramsey is there to help get the restaurant back up and running.

We often see Gordon Ramsey as a bit of a villain in Hell’s Kitchen with some of the things he says to contestants. However, Kitchen Nightmares shows us another side to him. He understands the troubles that people can see, and he wants the restaurants to succeed, so he does offer empathy while also finding ways to make changes.
