Can you believe we’re into November already? Where has 2024 gone? Well, the good news is that Friday, Nov. 1 brings us new episodes of top shows.
With FOX airing the World Series, it had to keep tonight open for Game 6 if needed. The rest of the networks have a normal schedule, so let’s focus on them.
SWAT, Joan, and more
We start a night of drama on CBS with SWAT. Hondo and the team are called into a prison hostage situation that goes from bad to worse. When there is an explosion in the prison, a bunch of inmates are let free while 20-Squad is trapped with them. Can they find their way out? Can they help the prison guard in trouble?
Meanwhile, Joan continues on The CW. Joan faces a lengthy prison sentence or the wrath of the IRA, and she doesn’t really want to face either. So, she needs to formulate her biggest plan yet. Can she pull off the inside man heist? The downsides of this is that she would need to leave her daughter behind, but she’s not quite ready for that.
Over on NBC, we have new episodes of the comedies Happy’s Place and Lopez vs. Lopez. In the latter, the episode is titled “Lopez vs. The In-Laws.” Quinten’s parents are visiting, and George and Rosie will need to figure out if there’s something suspicious about the Midwesterners. What is going on with their manners? Can the young couple make it through this and take control of their wedding?
