Friday nights are mostly about CBS dramas and college football. Let’s take a look at the TV schedule for Friday, Nov. 22.

It’s important to note that at the time of writing this post, The CW hadn’t announced its schedule. It’s something that will need to be added in once The CW decides what it’s doing. It’s odd that just days away from the night that the schedule isn’t fully set.

Previous weeks have led to reruns of The Conners and episodes of Bob Hearts Abishola as that series is now syndicated by the network. We’ll likely see something like that airing tonight, Friday, Nov. 22.

CBS dramas, college sports, and more

FOX has a night of college football again. Purdue heads to Michigan State for the night’s game, with coverage starting at 8 p.m. ET.

What about something for those who prefer scripted content? Well, it depends on whether you want drama or comedy. Fridays are all about drama on CBS. Blue Bloods ends the night once more, but there aren’t any details of the episode at the time of writing this. It’s titled “The Gray Areas,” which suggests that we’re going into a world where policing isn’t black and white.

For the SWAT fans out there, the episode will potentially be political. Hondo and the team need to deal with an attack on a women’s clinic that leaves two healthcare workers dead. With the location of the attack, it’s clear that this could be politically motivated, and Hondo will need to get to the bottom of it.

Over on NBC, we have a comedy start before going into a new episode of Dateline. Let’s focus on the comedy, though. It all starts with a new episode of Happy’s Place, which sees Bobbie agree to take Isabella to Happy’s house. Isabella wants to form some sort of connection to their late father, but Bobbie worries about what they’ll actually find in the house.

Lopez vs. Lopez brings up the topic of gender bias. Mayan wants to expose Rosie’s cultural bias when Orlando comes to visit. Is there really gender bias, or is Orlando just spoiled? Meanwhile, George wants to teach Chance the value of hard work, but it’s sure to set up a toxic work environment instead.
