Usually, we see a night of specials and reruns on Thanksgiving night. FOX is trying something different on Thursday, Nov. 28. Take a look at everything that’s set to air on broadcast TV tonight.

Yes, it’s Thanksgiving night. That usually means everyone is stuffed from turkey dinner and ready to watch the football. If you have kids, you may throw on a movie or two to watch with them. It’s a night of relaxation and family, which is why most networks don’t opt for new episodes of top shows.

New episodes of The Masked Singer and The Floor

FOX is doing something very odd tonight, and it’s dangerous for the linear ratings. After opting for a night of reruns of its Wednesday night shows last night, the network is opting for a night of new episodes tonight. And not of Thursday night shows. Oh no! FOX is opting for new episodes of Wednesday night shows on a Thursday.

See, I told you it was odd! We’re getting new episodes of The Masked Singer and The Floor.

The Masked Singer is a big episode, as well. We’re getting the Group C finals, which means there could be two big reveals tonight. Now, I get that with everyone sitting around the TV, it could be good for the network, but not for shows that usually air on Wednesdays. I can’t make sense of this.

If you’re looking for movies to watch with the kids, The CW and ABC both have you covered. Over on The CW, there’s a showing of Shrek, which starts at 7 p.m. ET/PT rather than the later hour. This is so that the movie wraps in time for the network to hand things back to local programming at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

ABC has a showing of Mary Poppins, which makes sense after Wednesday’s 20/20 special about the influence of the fictional character.

Sunday night’s big game is the Miami Dolphins heading to Green Bay to face against the Packers. NBC gets the game tonight, which isn’t normal for Thursday night football. That’s right; there isn’t a showing on Prime Video. NBC still gets all Thanksgiving Day games. The NFL can’t break that tradition just yet!
