With Isaac back in Woodstone Manor, the question of who would be allowed to stay came up. It wasn’t sustainable for Isaac and Nigel to live in the house, so one had to move out in Ghosts season 4, episode 2.

Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for Ghosts season 4, episode 2

The new episode did focus on Sam’s dad coming to visit, which meant Patience causing some trouble. However, the side story was all about Isaac and Nigel.

Despite their wedding ending in heartbreak, Nigel remained living in the house. After all, he’d become friends with the other ghosts, and he didn’t really want to leave them. Would he be forced out of the house?

Isaac and Nigel talk in Ghosts season 4, episode 2

The episode starts with Isaac trying to avoid Nigel. He wants to be respectful of Nigel’s pain, but it is hard. After all, Nigel keeps hanging out in the room with the only TV. However, the two do realize that their living situation isn’t sustainable.

Nigel resigns himself to being the one to leave. However, his speech about missing the friends he made hurts Isaac. So, Isaac suggests that he is the one to move out. It’s a surprising decision, even to Isaac, who realizes that his promise to be a better person has happening. Isaac didn’t mean it when he said it, but he’s excited with himself for being a good person.

So, is Isaac no longer in Woodstone Manor? As you can expect, the end of the episode changes things. Isaac is insufferable with the other Redcoat ghosts in the shed to the point they ask Nigel to move back in with them.

And so, things are getting back in order in Ghosts season 4, episode 2. Isaac is back in the house, and Nigel is in the shed. The only change now is Patience still living in the house.

Ghosts airs Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on CBS. Catch up the following day on Paramount+.
